A Leasing Agent plays a vital role in the rental process as this position is the key individual in showing properties and determining the eligibility of a prospective renter. If you enjoy talking with people, doing a bit of detective work, and organizing various moving parts of an organization than this job is for you.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Showing properties

Handling phone calls in a friendly manner

Meeting prospects for renting apartments and houses

Must Personable and have good time management

Must be flexible with hours

Available until 6:30 two nights a week and and some Saturdays

Help with administrative tasks - scheduling appointments for viewings, filing, and process notices as needed

Scheduling move in dates, issuing keys and collecting deposits and prorated rents

Job Qualifications:

• Able to maintain a presentable personal/business like image
• Have standard computer program knowledge (Word, Excel, Google Docs)
• Able to perform traditional clerical duties
• Appfolio knowledge a plus
• Subject to a criminal background search
• Available to work weekends when needed
• Able to complete required Fair Housing training
• Valid driver's license with good driving record

Compensation Package:

Pay between $14-16 per hour based on experience

9 paid holidays includes your birthday

Two Weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO) per year

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

• Clerical: 2 years (Preferred)
