ABOUT THE ROLE
Job Description:
The Account Manager play a pivotal role in fostering strong client relationships and driving business growth. Your responsibilities will include managing key accounts, understanding client needs and ensuring the seamless execution of printing projects. The role requires a combination of excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of printing processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Account Manager will primarily be responsible but not limited to the following:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients in the industry.
Understand client needs and objectives, and collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored printing solutions.
Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing updates and ensuring overall clientsatisfaction.
Manage and oversee the end to end execution of apparel printing projects, from initial concept to final delivery.
Develop and present proposals, quotes and project timelines to clients, aligning with their budgetary and timeline constraints.
Proactively identify opportunities for upselling or expanding services to existing clients.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to stay informed and provide strategic insights.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring terms are mutually beneficial and in line with company policies.
Track and analyze key account metrics, providing regular reports to internal stakeholders and identifying areas for improvement.
Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to contribute to business development and acquisition of new clients.
Resolve any issues or disputes promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive client experience.
Stay informed about the latest materials, technologies and processes relevant to the apparel industry.
REQUIREMENTS
Associates degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Prior decorative apparel industry experience
Communicate effectively with a diverse team of personalities and communication styles
Occasional travel to locations
QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience in account management or a related sales role, particularly within the printing or apparel industry
Familiarity with printing processes, materials, and industry trends
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and information clearly
Ability to manage multiple printing projects simultaneously ensuring they are delivered on time and meet quality standards
Strong organizational skills to handle various accounts and prioritize tasks effectively
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and client needs
Precision and attention to detail, particularly when managing print specifications and client requirements.
