We are seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team at Cooper Enterprises Inc. As an integral part of our company, youll play a crucial role in driving growth and building lasting relationships with our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new business opportunities.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our wood products, including their features, benefits, and applications.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands.
- Sales Presentations: Conduct compelling sales presentations to potential clients, showcasing the quality and value of our wood products.
- Negotiation: Skillfully negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure successful deals.
- Territory Management: Manage a designated sales territory, ensuring efficient coverage and maximizing sales potential.
- Collaboration: Work closely with our production and customer service teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and customer interactions.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in outside sales, Minimum of 1 year experience within the wood manufacturing or related wood industry.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with wood products, finishes, and applications.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-Motivated: Proactive, results-driven, and able to work independently.
- Valid Drivers License: Required for travel within the assigned territory.
