Job Title: Product Sales Specialist

We are looking for a sales representative to add to our Bobcat and Club Car location to support the Bobcat line of compact tractors, zero turn mowers, Club Car consumer golf cars (non-fleet), Club Car utility vehicles, and other ground maintenance related products. This position will be responsible for new and used equipment sales, machine delivery, and customer service and parts support. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to build relationships with current and potential Bobcat customers. The candidate needs to be motivated, organized and able to generate new business on their own. A strong background in equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain a positive working relationship with current customers.
• Ability to inspect existing customer equipment and recommend upgrades or replacements.
• Willingness to call on existing customers and cold call prospective customers
• Perform product demonstrations, and train customers on the value of the product lines and demonstrate the features and benefits of the products.
• Improve product knowledge and sales techniques.
• Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders both face to face as well as over the phone.
• Ability to place bids and take orders and deliver products in a timely manner.
• Work in conjunction with the service department to arrange for repairs as needed.
• Manage and develop new customers, while maintaining existing sales within assigned customers and a given sales territory.
• Develop a daily/weekly call list and maintain information accuracy monthly.
• Review daily sales reports.
• Review monthly sales reports with management to determine if goals and objectives are being met.

Requirements:

• Comfortable with equipment
• Proficiency with Microsoft office and ability to learn corporate sales systems for placing, and managing machine orders
• Must be willing to spend no less than 80% of their time working directly with customers
• Ability to communicate well with Sales, Service, and Parts Department.
• Able to deliver and chain equipment for transport.
• Clean driving record
