Sales Representative

We are looking for a Fire Alarm / Life Safety Sales Representative to locate and pull B2B bids, generate quotes, work with vendors, manage the proposal to job commencement cycle, assist our project managers and maintain good customer relations.

Sales / Estimating / Project Management experience in the commercial construction industry is a positive.

Average per job sales range from $10K to $150K.

Responsibilities:

Assisting in identifying targeted new clients and developing leads

Nurturing existing client relationships

Generating estimates and proposals

You must be able to cold call, you must be able to take and return calls

Visiting project sites and client offices

Making presentations

Maintaining your relationship and sales activity in our CRM and spreadsheet systems

Attending industry-related events

Requirements:

You must have a friendly and professional demeanor, comfortable in a team environment

You should have experience or be willing to learn to work with bidding sites, General Contractors and Field Service Management software

You must have strong communication and negotiation skills and not be afraid to follow up with clients and ask for project information

You must be highly organized with strong follow through skills. Being detail oriented is important in this position

Experience with understanding financial aspects of new proposals

Project Management and Leadership skill sets

Other Requirements:

2-5 years of sales experience in Life Safety Fire Alarm or low voltage systems

Proficient in CRM and Microsoft Office

Strong written, grammar and keyboarding skills

Strong work ethic and communication skills

Salary plus commission pay structure
