Job Summary

The Sales Associate is responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service, generating sales, merchandising, and safeguarding company assets. Maintains a positive company image by being courteous and professional in all situations with customers and employees.

Retail Sales Associate Immediate Supervisor: Department Supervisor

Job Responsibilities

Provide superior customer service by being prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable of assigned area

Straighten and maintain assigned area

Stock new merchandise and monitor back stock

Merchandise, arrange and display merchandise to attract customer attention and stimulate sales activity

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Assist Supervisor with signage

Operate cash register as needed

Assist team members and help in other areas as directed by supervisor or management.

Qualifications

Be willing to work a flexible schedule

Ability to bend, stoop and stand for long periods of time

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis

Must be 16 years or older
