CALICO NAPLES STORE SALES MANAGER

Our established Calico fabric and design showroom in Naples, FL seeks an experienced dynamic, enthusiastic leader that is passionate about selling to build a customer focused interior design team and expand our business in the Naples area.

A successful Calico Store Sales manager will be experienced in the interior design field, have loads of positive energy, supportive leadership style, and the desire to bring out the best in their team.

Responsibilities:

Customer Service

• Coach and train a customer service mindset.
• Anticipate and mitigate customer service issues.
• Handle escalated customer situations.

Sales

• Meet & exceed monthly personal and store sales goals
• Develop and foster a vibrant sales culture.
• Set goals based on management requirements and drive results.
• Motivate and inspire your team.
• Identify and develop underperformers.

People

• Attract and retain talent.
• Support and develop your team.
• Drive a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Business Analytics

• Observe trends and diagnose areas for improvement.
• Understand correlation between metrics and actions.
• Effectively communicate action plans to owners and subordinates.

Administrative

• Support the smooth flow of custom product orders in the back room.
• Complete required tasks such as sales reports, projections and profit analysis accurately and on time.
• Manage employee schedules and time off requests.
• Ensure compliance with state, local and corporate regulations and policies.
• Hire, onboard, train and terminate employees.

Qualifications

• Have a college degree or at least 5 years related experience.
• Have previous management, marketing, and sales experience within a service or retail industry.
• Experience and knowledge of textiles and interior design including an understanding of fabrics, construction and custom workroom fabrication.
• Demonstrated experience as a revenue generator - prior commissioned sales experience required.
• Possess the ability to identify and solve problems independently, set goals and expectations, delegate responsibilities, and effectively interact with and lead staff.
• Exhibit proficiency in establishing sales goals and interpreting progress and trends through the use of sales, operational, and financial reports.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Be aware of and comply with all labor and employment laws applicable to employees.
• Live within 25 miles of the Naples Calico location: 2355 Vanderbilt Beach Road, Naples, FL

Job Type: Salaried Full-time 45 50 hours/week 8am 5pm, 5 days/week may include Saturdays.

Compensation: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 + per year (Salary & Commission) based on qualifications and experience.
