Full description of the position

Brim operates 12 agricultural and construction equipment dealerships in Oregon and Washington. For more than 55 years, Brim has provided sales, as well as parts, service and rental support to agricultural and construction industries in the Pacific Northwest. The Brim equipment offering includes top quality brands like; New Holland, Bobcat, JCB, Yanmar, Krone, Wacker-Neuson, Lemken, Bad Boy and much more. Our Rental Department provides a large variety of equipment for all clientele from the hobby farmer to large construction and everything in between.

Job Description

Full time outside sales position specializing in selling: agricultural equipment, tractors, compact construction equipment, telehandlers, etc. Candidate will actively manage and grow a sales territory.

Requirements

  • Proven sales success in the agricultural market.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Possess a sense of urgency and timing.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Daily CRM input and maintenance.
  • Submit expense and other reports in a timely manner.
  • Exceptional self-discipline with a competitive drive.
  • Ability to explain and demonstrate the features and benefits of a wide variety of equipment (as noted above).
  • Comfortable calling on new and existing accounts, developing long term business relationships.
  • Ability to work as needed (additional hours) during the busy season.

Qualifications

  • Prefer 3-5 years sales experience in the ag equipment industry.
  • Prefer a bachelors degree in: business, construction, or agricultural related field.
  • Must have excellent computer, communication, and writing skills.
  • Must be proficient in Excel and Word.
  • Must be customer service oriented and display a positive attitude at all times.
  • Must be professional, efficient, and punctual with a good attendance record.
