Haver & Boecker USA is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Sales Engineer for our West Coast Territory.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the sales of customized solutions on the West Coast. Previous experience in a technical industrial sales role (capital equipment, industrial machinery), and a high technical aptitude with an understanding of commercial terms and technical concepts are required for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Drive customer sales by creating customized solutions and offering the technologies and services as suited to industry-specific requirements
• Understand market potential and identify target industries and customers
• Schedule visits to potential customers and maintain close contact with existing customers through regular on-site visits and communication
• Process and manage technical and commercial quotations and orders through quotation software
• Attend and participate in customer training, sales meetings, trade shows and conferences as required
• Work closely with Project Management and Engineering departments
• Participate in on-site customer Kick-Off meetings

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent working experience
• A minimum of 3 years of technical sales experience in a related field
• Technical aptitude with an understanding of technical and commercial terms
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to discuss highly technical concepts with prospective leads
• Ability to travel extensively
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
