Job Description: As a Life Insurance Telesales Agent, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success and growth of our business. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure efficient and effective customer service to our existing and prospective clients. We are looking for individuals who have an entrepreneurial mindset and are eager to take ownership of their work. Successful candidates should be comfortable ensuring positive customer experiences by educating prospects on the features and benefits of the available plans, responding to questions, and overcoming objections.

Responsibilities:

• Assess client needs and recommend suitable life insurance policies based on their financial goals and circumstances
• Engage with prospects through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and virtual meetings
• Explain policy features, benefits, and exclusions to clients, ensuring they have a clear understanding of their coverage options
• Process insurance applications accurately and efficiently, adhering to industry regulations and internal policies
• Maintain detailed records of client interactions and policy details for future reference and follow-up
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and addressing any questions or concerns they may have
• Stay up to date with industry trends, product knowledge, and changes in insurance regulations to effectively serve clients
• Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company

Position Requirements

• MUST work in the East Hanover office.
• High School diploma
• Valid New Jersey Life & Health Insurance license or ability to obtain prior to commencement
• Proven sales, training & management experience
• High level of Integrity & Competitive Team player
• Assertive, Goal oriented, Positive & Self motivated
• Excellent communication skills
• Adapt quickly in fast paced environment.
• Professional Demeanor & Personal Accountability
• Ability to work overtime, if necessary
• Ability to utilize a personal laptop device
• Proficiency with computer applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Life Insurance Sales Experience
• Bilingual in English & Spanish, a plus
• Proven ability to close sales at a high rate
• Phone sales experience
• College Education a plus
