The Role...

The Sales Manager is responsible for achieving individual new business revenue while managing and driving overall sales and profitability for the company.

The Team Member We Need:

The ideal candidate possess key prospecting strategies to identify prospects and initiate the first outreach with potential customers, but also knows how to mentor and lead a sales team to success.

Responsibilities Include But are Not Limited To:

• Calling and working with the appropriate sales team member on completing the correct needs analysis on prospective customers throughout the city
• Managing the development and maintenance of strong pipelines for all sales team members
• Reporting and communicating customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities and po6tential for new products and services.
• Continuously improving sales performance through feedback
• Analyzing the territory/ markets potential, tracking sales and maintaining status reports

Preferred Experience:

• Bachelors Degree is preferred (Horticulture or similar major)
• 10 years sales management experience in the Green Industry preferred
• Experience in building services, HVAC, janitorial, plumbing, roofing, siding, or foundations is a plus.
• Experience with home builders is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of computer applications
• Ability to create and communicate effective sales presentations both written and orally
• Profit-Driven-ability to find ways to cut costs, improve efficiency and increase margins
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Effective problem solving skills; ability to handle adversity
