Skilled Trades Account Manager

GEAR, LLC is seeking a full-time Account Manager for its Alcoa, TN office. GEAR, LLC provides temporary and direct-placement workforce solutions primarily within the Skilled Trades and Manufacturing industries, and the ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of these fields to ensure success. The ideal candidate will also have three (3) years of sales experience.

The Account Manager will be responsible for:

• Maintaining business relationships with existing clients to ensure that quality-of-service expectations are met.
• Identifying, targeting, and closing contracts with sales prospects.
• Applying knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and trends to effectively negotiate contract terms.
• Assessing market trends to maintain competitive advantage within the staffing industry.
• Achieving sales goals by meeting existing client needs and bringing in new clients.
• Resolving client complaints and concerns in a timely and effective manner

Job Requirements:

An Account Manager must have the ability to work in a team environment, be self-motivated and goal-oriented with a proven track record. Further requirements and preferences include:

• Good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills along with the ability to appropriately prioritize responsibilities to ensure client satisfaction.
• College degree preferred, but not required.
• Sales experience preferred, but not required if other factors outweigh lack of sales experience.
• Industry knowledge preferred, but not required if applicant has significant sales experience.
• Punctuality and attention to detail are key.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 per year
