POSITION OVERVIEW REGIONAL SALES MANAGER FLUID POWER-PUMPS, MOTORS, POWER UNITS
Reporting to the Head of Sales, the Regional Sales Manager will join our experienced sales team to support current and future business by enhancing existing customer relationships and generating new business.
SPECIFIC DUTIES FOR REGIONAL SALES MANAGER
- Implement the existing business and marketing plan and sales strategy that ensures attainment of company sales and profitability goals for the existing assigned accounts and territory.
- Professional "Hunter" type mentality to search for new sales leads and prospects in the defined strategic customer market segments.
- Recommend sales strategies for your individual region detailing improvement based on market research and competitor analyses.
- Work closely with the inside sales support team to ensure the customer's expectations are met.
- Work directly with Engineering Team on new designs, proposal drawings and prototypes to assigned accounts.
- Provide timely feedback to the Head of Sales regarding customer and territory performance.
- Provide timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
- Maintain accurate records of all quotes, sales, and activity reports required for the assigned territory.
- Create and conduct professional proposal presentations and responses.
- Create and maintain forecast for assigned accounts and pipeline report for prospective business.
- Control individual expenses to meet budget guidelines.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
- Set example for others in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits.
- Maintain contact with all clients to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Willing and able to travel 50% of the time or more. Initially travel will be even more frequent in order to make introductions to customers and others in the sales channel.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- More than 2 years of experience in Direct OEM Sales, Distributor Sales is required.
- Experience with fluid power pumps, hydraulics & fluid power, hydraulic pumps, hydraulics motors.
- Experience with enterprise software solutions and large organizations.
- Extensive experience in all aspects of supplier Relationship Management.
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
- Willingness to travel and work in a team environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
