Inside Sales / Lead Generation Specialist - Job Description

Background:

A medical device company in Cleveland is looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented person to join our team as an Inside Sales /Lead Generation Specialist. The company was founded by a world-renowned surgeon and has a team of highly qualified and motivated people across all disciplines. This position will be in-office/on-site and is located at our headquarters in Beachwood, OH.

Overview:

The Inside Sales / Lead Gen Specialist will assist the Marketing Manager and Sales Manager with growing the business's overall dual-channel sales by executing IME's contact strategy to turn prospects and cold leads into warm, sales-ready leads. This will encompass all aspects of developing the leads program, including developing a lead list and campaign flows to move prospects down the marketing funnel and delivering warm leads to our professional sales team for closing and renewal activity.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop a strong knowledge of the company's products and services to facilitate the sales process.
  • Responsible for converting prospects and cold leads into warm leads ready for our sales organization to close.
  • Formulate email contact strategy for our B2C and B2B Lead Gen business.
  • Develop and maintain a roadmap for email campaigns and A/B testing.
  • Create, configure, and launch email campaigns per IME strategy and formulate automation rules.
  • Document plan, campaign performances, and test results.
  • Drive email marketing operation improvements with automation, standardization, and collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Manage segmentation strategy, use data and creativity to explore and test new segments, and identify opportunities for A/B testing in segmentation and messaging to optimize and drive improvement to KPIs.
  • Create and monitor complex personalized journeys, triggers, and automation.
  • Analyze the performance of email marketing channels and journeys, seeking ways to improve performance.
  • Drive contact strategy for prospects, leads, current customers, and lapsed customers.

Skills/attributes required:

Excellent English communication (verbal and written)

Experience with cold calling a plus

Experience with research and maintaining databases.

Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Experience leveraging a marketing automation/CRM system, ERP Systems, and project management platforms such as [please apply online] Strong project and time management skills

    • Analytical and problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced team with a growth mindset.
    • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines with minimal oversight.
    • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Commensurate experience or bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or other related field
    • Passion for personalization, data-driven marketing, and building programs that drive incremental results.
    • Knowledge of customer segmentation, list management, deliverability, and CAN-SPAM laws.
    • Knowledge of email and CRM marketing.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 40 per week
