Licensed Optician

Kresloff Eye Associates - a family oriented Ophtalmology practice in Collingswood, NJ - is looking for an additional Licensed Optician to add to our already awesome team and optical shop. Our new optician will help our patients pick out and adjust their new prescription eyeglasses. This dynamic new optician should be comfortable assisting patients with frame selection, helping them choose frames that suit their facial features, personal taste as well as lifestyle and budget. Our ideal applicant has an associate degree and is either comfortable doing work in an optical lab or willing to be trained.

Licensed Optician Duties and Responsibilities

• Interpret and fill prescriptions from our Ophthalmologists and Optometrists
• Help customers pick out a suitable, stylish and complimentary frame
• Adjust frames to fit the customer's head size and shape of face
• Readjust existing frames for customers as needed
• Knowledge of different types of lenses and insurances

Licensed Optician Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Associate degree in opticianry
• Optician's license
• Strong customer service skills

Kresloff Eye Associates

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour
