Sales Director
Position Overview:
The Sales Director supervises all sales activities and is responsible for managing and motivating the sales team to achieve sales goals. The Sales Director will continuously providing training on sales techniques and implementation of processes, while working alongside leadership to achieve business plan goals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Implement departmental operating guidelines, and for recommending departmental budgets to supervisors through the budgeting process.
- Analyze and evaluate data to establish departmental objectives, goals, and budgets annually.
- Conduct departmental operations within established budgets.
- Interview, evaluate, hire, train, motivate, supervise, and discipline all personnel under direct supervision. This includes terminating personnel, when necessary.
- Maintain a constructive environment for the continuing development and career-oriented advancement of directly supervised personnel. This includes conducting regular Performance Evaluations of all personnel under direct, primary reporting supervision.
- Manage the problem identification and solving process within the department and with other departments.
- Schedule, prepare, and present seminars to train all departmental personnel when needed. This includes testing employees on product knowledge and procedural proficiencies
- Establish good working relationships and expectations with mortgage companies and Real Estate companies in conjunction with Marketing.
- Establish contacts and good working relationships with City, Civic, Professional, and Business-related organizations.
- Inspect and evaluate communities, models, and specs in conjunction with Marketing.
- Perform any other duties deemed necessary by the leadership.
- Adhere to written Standard Operating Procedures for all aspects of this position.
- Maintaining a constructive environment at work, encouraging Insightful and enthusiastic teamwork creating positive attitudes and building supportive morale.
- Participate in training when needed. This includes learning product knowledge, procedural proficiencies, and computer software.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum five years hands on experience in these or related functions.
EDUCATION: Minimum four-year degree or have exceptional direct experience at a managerial level.
EEO/OSHA/ADA: Able to manipulate and use CRT/screens, keyboards, mouse/pointing devices, etc., associated with contemporary computers. Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Able and willing to drive locally regularly.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
