Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Market Manager is responsible for managing a flexible portfolio of brand activations may include retail and non-retail environments. They are the designated lead for the market they are assigned to, and responsible for all program related activities that take place within the market. They will continuously develop opportunities for brand growth, within the markets designated environments, seeking out and establishing relationships with key contacts. They are skilled in negotiations and are adept at finalizing contractual agreements for activities that support the scope of the programs initiatives within the market.
The Market Manager is also responsible for building and managing high-performance teams that are competent in meeting the objectives for the program. This includes the ability to accurately evaluate, coach, and when needed, develop performance plans supporting each of their direct reports to be successful in their respective roles.
The Market Manager maintains accurate records and provides timely reporting of activity performance and inventory assigned to the market. This position requires routine travel within the market and periodic mandatory travel overnight to attend meetings, trainings, and perform market visits. In addition, this position is contracted for a minimum of 12 weeks with the possibility of extending.

Understanding & Confidence in Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide daily operational oversight management of operations (e.g., shipments, equipment, inventory, staff management)
- Hire and onboard team to manage and support market activities
- Ensure all merchandising and sales initiatives are implemented in adherence to plans
- Act as the primary source of communication for market operations
- Manage partner relationships and ensure fulfillment of agreements
- Manage staff and activity schedules, monitor, and refine for performance efficiencies
- Audit activity and inventory consistently to ensure compliance and excellence in execution
- Track and reconcile inventory on routine basis, ensuring various systems and reporting are kept current
- Set and execute strategic plans in coordination with the Regional Manager
- Ability to establish, understand, and successfully monitor goals and budgets
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
