Coordinator: Wedding Charter Sales & Tour Sales

Who are we?

PST Transportation and City Sightseeing Philadelphia provides guests from around the world with a variety of tours to suit every interest. Offerings include a 28-stop, 16-mile Hop On-Hop Off public bus tour, a historical and a cultural walking tour, and public art and holiday tours all led by expert tour guides. Our bus tours are equipped with audio guides in 9 languages: French, Spanish, German, Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Hindi.

What are we looking for?

In addition to our tours for the public, we have and continue to cultivate relationships with international tourism companies that trust us to provide their groups with educational and entertaining tours. The Wedding Charter Sales & Tour Sales will work closely with these companies to accommodate their groups when they visit our city. The Wedding Charter Sales will required you to acquire new venues and business relationships with wedding coordinators. School Groups will require seeking out opportunities for new business working closely with schools that travel to Philadelphia for Historic Tours as well as leisure groups. Duties include:

• Keeping in regular contact with our existing clients
• Reaching out to new clients
• Maintaining and updating schedules of incoming groups
• Communicating with our Tour Directors and Driving Supervisors about bookings
• Facilitating transactions, managing group rates and proofing contracts
• Light travel to New York City 3-4 times a year to meet with clients
• Conferences
• Meeting tour groups at our Stop One (Bourse Building) to ensure groups are received and accommodated appropriately
• Other duties as assigned

• You are an outgoing, organized and upbeat individual that truly enjoys dealing with people.
• You maintain a professional and friendly demeanor with clients.
• You are someone that has experienced and/or studied international cultural customs, and have an adaptability when working with clients of diverse backgrounds.
• You are multilingual, with a particular proficiency in Mandarin.

Requirements

• 1 year sales experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree
• Previous experience working with international clients
• Proficiency in other languages a plus

Negotiable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Education:

• Charter Transportation Service: 1 year (Preferred)
