Full description of the position

Job Summary: Responsible for ensuring efficient and effective leasing and resident-relations at the assigned properties in compliance with the policies and procedures of the Company.

Scope of Duties: The purpose of this job description is to communicate essential duties and responsibilities associated with the position; however, not all duties and responsibilities are specifically addressed herein. The Company emphasizes a team approach and expects every employee to perform any reasonable task that is consistent with meeting the Companys objectives. These tasks may, at times, include duties and responsibilities that are primarily handled by other job positions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Employees duties shall be accomplished in consultation with his/her supervisor, and in some cases may require supervisor approval. Duties and responsibilities may be shared with other employees, and may include but are not limited to:

Providing appropriate coverage at the assigned properties

Adherence to property financial guidelines and budgets

Providing regular reporting on the leasing/renewal performance at the property

Operating the assigned properties in accordance with state, federal and local laws

Operating the assigned properties in a manner that is consistent with Company policy

Operating the assigned properties in accordance with industry standards and best practices

Maintaining regulatory compliance and preparing for compliance inspections

Maintaining the property in a condition that is clean, safe, and professional

Positioning the property to effectively attract and retain residents

Maintaining professional communication with co-workers, vendors, and residents

Administration of resident leases, including rent collection, renewals, and evictions

Maintaining files and documentation in conformance with Company policy

Responding to emergencies or incidents at the property

Any other duties consistent with efficient and effective property operations

Seeking opportunities for improvement and professional development

Comprehension and Verbal Skills: Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.

Reasoning and Problem Solving: Ability to apply common sense understanding in responding to written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems based on experience and/or independent judgment.

Certifications, Licenses: As required by Company based on location and property type.

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Experience:

  • Property leasing: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Scarborough, ME: Relocate before starting work (Required)
