Moss Creek Village Furniture is the finest local distributor of Flexsteel Home furnishings in the Lowcountry. Our furniture showroom is over 15,000 square feet and located in Bluffton, South Carolina. We have been in business for more than 3 decades and service customers from Bluffton, Hilton Head Island, Beaufort, Savannah, and surrounding areas. We're seeking a highly motivated and outgoing person to join our sales team.

Job Description
Our Furniture Sales Associate's primary focus is to sell custom orders and in-stock furniture to our walk-in customers and those customers who make online inquiries. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented self-starter who can use their strategic communication skills to develop a trustworthy professional relationship with customers. You will work one on one to select the proper furniture for our customers' style needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers
• Discover a customer's home furnishing needs to help them make their design vision a reality
• Generate sales through a warm and welcoming consultative approach
• Provide above and beyond customer service and exceed customer expectations.
• Build rapport with customers, earning their business through your ability to demonstrate exceptional product knowledge, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent listening skills
• Cross-sell and encourage beneficial product add-ons
• Work as a team to achieve sales goals
• Explain financing and protection plans
• Demonstrate our product value and explain the benefits that the customer can appreciate
• Work in cooperation with management and team members to achieve sales goals.

Experience Required

• 2+ years of retail sales and/or sales experience is preferred, but not required (Will Train Right Candidate)
• Highly organized, team player, driven and motivated to succeed
• Great listener with a positive attitude and an outgoing personality
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Additional Information:

Pay: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
