Business Development Executive Logistics and Transportation

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team and collaborate closely with our VP of Sales in expanding our Supply Chain vertical. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 3 years of demonstrated success in the industry.

The Business Development Executive will have the primary responsibility for growing the new client and job order pipeline within the Logistics & Transportation division. The Business Development Executive will report to the Chief Revenue Office and up to the President, while also working closely with the division Regional Directors.

Day-to-Day

  • Create and execute a plan for building and closing a pipeline of new opportunities to ensure company goals and objectives are obtained.
  • Identify, build, and maintain relationships with C-Suite contacts within the divisions targeted client base.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain President and executive team support for your plan to deliver sustainable business development growth.
  • Participate in and report on activity during monthly business development strategy sessions with the CRO, President, and Regional Directors.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of Business Development and/or Sales Experience in the industry (supply chain, manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, etc.)
  • Self-motivator who enjoys hunting for new business
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other business development tools.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work out of our office in Fishers, IN
