Job Description

Position Overview: Guide customers through the shopping process, from initial greeting to final purchase. Providing insights and support, the sales associate will help strengthen our customer relationships and convert new patrons into repeat shoppers. The ideal candidate for this role will have a knack for engaging customers and resolving their concerns. The retail sales associate should be passionate about people and eager to develop new customer-service skills.

Essential Job Functions

Engage with customers to ensure a positive shopping experience and offer solution-based sales to create a customer focused environment.

Serves customers by helping them select products.

Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.

Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner.

Responds to customers questions.

Directs customers by escorting them to racks and counters.

Provides outstanding customer service.

Documents sales by creating or updating customer profile records.

Manages financial transactions.

Processes payments by totaling purchases, processing checks, cash, and store or other credit and debit cards.

Alerts management of potential security issues.

Assists with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.

Maintains a clean and welcoming store environment

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

Must be able to remain stationary on hard surface for 8 or more hours a day.

Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another.

Required to push, pull, bend, lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
