Miami New Times, the go to source for local news, arts, music and entertainment is looking for a qualified Sales Coordinator to join our team. Your main role will be assisting our sales team, including but not limited to general sales trafficking and onboarding, account and campaign management, performance reporting, assisting with creative development and general project based tasks.

Our ideal candidate is an experienced professional with knowledge of sales and customer service best practices. You should be able to interpret digital marketing metrics and be goal-oriented. We expect you to perform well in a team environment and have exceptional people skills. Ultimately, you should be able to contribute to creating and maintaining good customer relationships and ensuring smooth sales team operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Account Executives with client accounts
• Liaison between sales and business, marketing and creative departments
• Provide reporting and recaps for advertising and marketing campaigns
• Updating internal reporting and tracking systems
• Development of sales collateral and materials
• Assist in sales and operational training sessions
• Develop client marketing proposals
• Plan and book out media campaigns and flights
• Manage internal media center and update training materials

Requirements

• Proven work experience in a fast and high paced sales or agency environment
• Understanding of digital marketing including SEO, Social Media and Programmatic Advertising
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Powerpoint, Google Slides/Sheets, Canva
• Proficient in SalesForce
• Familiar with internal ticketing systems such as Zendesk
• In-depth understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Goal oriented and ability to hit strict deadlines
• Thrive in a team oriented environment

Salary commensurate with experience.
