Flooring Sales Specialist

JOB FUNCTION

The Flooring sales specialist is responsible for working with our customers to identify their project needs and tastes, as well as provide project solutions. Meeting and greeting our retail customers, working with our Pro Customers (Builders, Contractors, Designers) as well as prospecting new business.

If you have experience in interior design, floor covering sales, home improvement sales, real estate sales, customer service, home building or remodeling industry or any sales background this opportunity could be a great fit for you. However, if you have drive and no experience, we want to talk to you.

No flooring experience needed, we will teach you!

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Meets with our customers in our Showrooms, in their home, or virtually to determine preferences, purpose and function, types of materials and budget when planning their projects.
• Integrates findings and knowledge of interior design to formulate a plan and sell the appropriate products to complete the plan.
• Renders design ideas in the form of drawings or illustrations, estimates material requirements and costs, and presents design(s) for approval.
• Be very organized and self-motivated with an emphasis on customer service, estimating and diligent follow up.
• Once project is sold, manages the project from start to finish

MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Flooring experience is a plus, but not necessary. We have the team to train you.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
• Basic mathematical skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and ability to multi-task with urgency.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner along with gathering and analyzing information skillfully.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Maintain composure communicating with our customers and employees, occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations.
• Required ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.

100% Commission
