Werner Partners is a leading buyside mergers and acquisitions advisory firm that develops and executes acquisition search strategies for corporate and private equity acquirers. We are seeking self-motivated, professional, business development - minded individuals to join our company. Individuals should be enthusiastic, with a clear confident speaking voice to contact Executive Level (Chairman, President, CEO, CFO) individuals in order to discuss and provide information regarding business acquisitions.

Job Description

Werner Partners will be hiring a few entry-level Origination Associates. Associates will participate in and work on a variety of different acquisition strategies gaining direct experience into the buyside M&A process. Primary responsibilities include the following:

• Consistent telephone solicitation / communication with business owners and key executives
• Identification of attractive candidates through primary research
• Manage a proprietary database of companies
• Develop marketing communications and pitch various clients and strategies

Compensation

We offer a strong compensation and benefits package in a comfortable work environment. 1st year Associates typically earn $50,000+ including a base salary of $44,000. Additional bonuses for closed transactions and numerous monthly and quarterly performance-based bonuses offer significant upside potential beyond base pay with compensation averaging over $75,000 annually. Full benefits including a 401(k) plan, health insurance, and paid time off are available after a standard waiting period.

Candidates are expected to be self-starters and effectively contribute to a team environment. Successful candidates typically possess:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent phone proficiency
• Bachelor's degree and/or related work experience
• Proficient computer literacy, MS Office and Salesforce CRM a plus

Additional Information and Instructions
