Sales associates are responsible for assisting customer in all departments. Answer phone pages for customer service promptly. Do not assume "the other sales associates will get it."

Sales associates are responsible for handling all sales transactions in the manner outlined in the policies and procedures manual. Generate cash and charge orders for walk-in an phone-in customers purchasing merchandise. Collect money and ensure all paperwork is signed to maintain an accurate record of inventory and sales. You are required to perform all computer functions related to sales transactions.

Sales associates are responsible for all merchandising efforts within your departments. this includes: (1) designing, constructing, stocking and maintaining all displays and endcaps; (2) stocking and maintaining a professional appearance for all merchandise within the store; (3)

ensuring that all merchandise has been tagged and assigned bin locations.

Sales associates are responsible for identifying problem areas within the showroom. Problem areas include merchandise without bin labels, merchandise with wrong bin labels assigned, merchandise with poor descriptions and merchandise with multiple SKU numbers.

Sales associates are responsible for assisting the receiving and stocking of all merchandise. All old merchandise is to be rotated to the front of the shelf and the new merchandise placed in back. It is also the responsibility of the sales associate to ensure that all bin labels reflect accurate pricing and product information.

Sales associates are to develop an out of stock list to be turned in every Thursday, by 4:00 p.m and also spot check inventory levels to ensure that overstocks do not occur.

Sales associates are required to attend and participate in weekly product knowledge and sales training meetings.

Sales associates are responsible for fronting and dusting all merchandise in assigned departments daily and required to work through assigned department's back stock twice a week. The back stock area for assigned departments is to be kept clean and well organized.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $9.00 - $11.00 per hour
