KTVN-TV, the CBS affiliate in Reno, NV (A subsidiary of Sarkes Tarzian), seeks a Digital Sales Manager who will aggressively grow digital revenue across all digital platforms at an industry-leading pace. Candidate must be a passionate leader with a thorough strategic understanding of digital advertising and products and industry trends relating to consumer marketing, and be an effective communicator, trainer, relationship builder, and presenter. The DSM will build and manage the overall station and corporate digital strategy in an effort to help coach and train local Marketing Specialists. The DSM will also work with Marketing Specialists to develop leads and prospect new accounts, provide guidance on building key accounts, and prepare proposals and presentation for Marketing Specialists. In addition to helping prospect and grow existing sales relationships, the successful DSM will have the ability to sell directly to key accounts who are not current station clients. Candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a demonstrated ability to work effectively with other managers, third party vendors, corporate digital relationships, and a track record of growth in at least 2-3 years of digital management with a digital or media company; and be able to create and complete digital campaigns from inception to reporting metrics.
