Responsibilities Automotive General Sales Manager:

Responsible for the success and profitability of vehicle sales, sales team management and more.

Hire, train, and assist the sales team in closing deals, drive sales, produce results

Lead, motivate and coach the sales team to achieve revenue targets

Monitor/manage the sales team's progress and performance

Engage with customers to build a base of referrals and repeat business

Help manage all aspects of the sales department and inventory lot

Knowledge of Online Marketing, Social media, and Digital Retailing

Ability to Analize Success through reporting and metrics

Work with Parts and Service Director to shepherd used cars through reconditioning

Qualifications Automotive Dealership General Sales Manager:

Automotive Sales Manager Experience is required with the ability to track customers from Lead inception to sale

High-energy, positive, outgoing and motivated to succeed

Strong leadership, communication and customer service skills

Team builder

Proven track record as a floor manager and a strong closer

Ability to drive sales and produce results

Motivated with a passion to achieve high standards

Social media skills and computer proficient

Finance experience is required

Professional appearance

Valid driver's license and good driving record
