SMT Bulk Transloading is an established Transloading business that is now located on 60 acres just outside of Savannah. We are a family-owned business with over 20 years of experience in the Transloading and Trucking Industry. Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. As a Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This is a key leadership role that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make strategic financial decisions.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the finance department and handle day-to-day trouble shooting and problem solving.

- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls

- Create and manage tax provisions, journal entries and other pertinent data.

- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities

- Assist in preparation of various reports related to expenses, inventory, accounts recievable and accounts payable.

- Collaborate with other departments to drive financial performance and achieve organizational goals

Skills:

- Bachelors degree in Accounting

- 6 years of experience in accounting or financing.

- Proficient in general ledger reconciliation and accounts receivable management

- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- The ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
