Position Overview?
Working as a Sales Management Trainee, your main focus is to develop and implement the client's values, mission and help them to achieve their overall sales goals and ensure success for the company.
You will work closely with a range of departments & will share the opportunity to go out to face-to-face meetings, with many people who have started in this role moving into a more senior position within a short space of time.
Key Areas and Duties Overview:
Lead Generation: Identifying and prospecting potential clients, customers and opportunities through various channels, such as networking events, retail promotional events, trade shows, and promotional kiosks.
Relationship Building: Establishing and nurturing relationships with customers, clients, partners, industry influencers as well as your team.
Sales and Negotiations: Collaborating with the sales team to convert leads into actual sales.
Strategic Planning: Developing business development and marketing strategies to achieve company growth goals. This may involve entering new campaigns, launching new products, or expanding existing offerings.
Market Expansion: Working with management and other departments to expand the company's footprint in new geographical areas or segments. Developing strategies to penetrate new markets effectively.
Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining long-term relationships with existing customers and clients. Understanding their evolving needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
Reporting: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development and sales efforts both individually and feedback from the current campaign. Generating regular reports to communicate progress, challenges, and opportunities to senior management.
Continuous Learning: Training will be provided from clients regarding current campaigns, products, services and client missions and goals. Continuously improving knowledge and skills to adapt to changing business landscapes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborating with various departments such as marketing, sales, product development, and operations to align business development efforts with overall company goals.
