The Convention Sales Manager will be primarily responsible for the detailing and execution of group and corporate catering business once contracts are finalized. They will work closely as the liaison between the sales team and Operations to ensure that essential details and information is conveyed from the customer to our internal team. This individual will be present for events and serve as a primary point of contact for our customers while they are onsite.

Hours: This role holds a flex schedule based on in-house events, and will sometimes require evenings/weekends.

Compensation: $34.61 - $36.05 hourly

• Ability to meet or exceed productivity and performance standards
• Ability to plan, prioritize, organize, maintain concentration, and complete all required tasks
• Ability to focus attention to performance of tasks despite frequent interruptions
• Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team and interact with others with courtesy, friendliness, and professionalism
• Participation in site visits and planning meetings for upcoming groups
• Function as on-site contact for assigned conferences and events, maintaining visibility and availability to key individuals
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Strong verbal and written communication ability

Preferred Skills:

• Working knowledge of Delphi FDC
• Working knowledge of Visrez or other diagramming software
• 2+ years experience in an event detailing/servicing capacity
