Mielke Electric Works is a leader in the supply of industrial control and factory automation products, electric motors, predictive maintenance services, and the repair of electrical apparatus. We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Representative working out of our Duluth, MN office.

You will be responsible for leading the relationship between Mielke Electric Works and our customers here in beautiful northern Minnesota. This would include providing excellent customer service for new and existing customers by providing solutions, managing projects, and providing information on products and services. In addition, to identify new business opportunities and establish new customer relationships. The majority of our customers are end users in the ferrous and nonferrous mining industries, utility industry, transportation industries, and in the forest products industry.

As one of our representatives, you will work with a talented team of inside and outside sales people, product specialists, and transactional support personnel. Mielke Electric is a Rockwell Automation distributor and you will work closely with the Mielke team and suppliers to promote our product lines while supporting our customers in Northwestern Wisconsin and Northern Minnesota.

Experience:

- Five plus years sales experience, industrial accounts preferred

- Engineering degree, technical degree or strong industrial background in the following areas preferred:

o Industrial controls

o Electric motors

o Automation equipment (experience with Automation Controllers, PLCs, HMI, Industrial Networks, and Motion controllers preferred)

- Demonstrated leadership experience and a willingness for ongoing learning

- Rockwell Automation training and sales courses will be offered.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
