Overview:
When you join the PharmaGenetics INC team you will be apart of a growing, dedicated staff who help to get safe, accurate, and timely medication to those who need it most. We are currently looking for a Sales Representative BioPharma to join our PharmaGenetics INC team within our Purchasing department. As a Sales Representative BioPharma, the candidate functions as a support to all procurement activities of the department.
The ideal candidate must enjoy troubleshooting and resolving problems and is dedicated to helping customers. Where no task feels too small and no challenge impossible. Possessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. The chosen in this role.
Sales Representative BioPharma
The Sales Representative BioPharma professional will act as the primary customer contact for demand creation by marketing pharmaceutical products to physicians. Specifically, the Sales Representative is responsible for promoting healthcare products per the laws, regulations and company policies governing the promotion of the healthcare product. Each Sales Rep has an assigned territory and reports to a Sales Manager. In this strategic sales role, the Sales Representative's provide current and comprehensive clinical knowledge of biotech products to customers and effectively communicate the clinical and economic benefits of the pharmacology product in accordance with approved promotional labeling.
Each Sales Rep is also responsible for collaborating with other field-based team members/Account Managers responsible for servicing and educating the target customer and their practice. The expectation is for the rep to maintain and nurture professional relationships with the healthcare professionals they target to promote healthcare products and services.
OUR Sales Representative BioPharma ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Partner with health care professionals and those involved with patient care as a product expert to tailor solutions for patient therapy
- Work in your own pharmaceutical sales territory and also partner with team members and alliance partners for success in the territory
- Sell in a changing health care environment, utilizing critical thinking and a strategic mindset to understand the environment (payer, health systems, business) and gain access to the customers to make an impact on patients' lives
- Possesses and demonstrates strong business acumen and decision making and can develop a territory based on market insights and drivers to positively impact sales within the assigned territory
- Delivers information relevant and uniquely tailored to each customer through thorough pre-call preparation and post-call planning to maximize customer engagement
- Responsible for learning and imparting to customers clinical, scientific and technical features of pharmaceutical products and patient support services to maximize appropriate product utilization Responsible for attaining sales target goals in the assigned territory through compliant promotion of portfolio of products
- Ensures effective business and territory planning to effectively cover the assigned call plan and execution metrics
Sales Representative BioPharma PRIMARY CARE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong oral communication skills and verbal command of complex medical terminology in disease-state(s)
- Outside sales experience is important
- Excellent communication skills
- Must have a Valid Drivers License
- Outside sales experience is preferred
- Industry knowledge or education/training is required
- Intermediate computer skills required (Windows, Word, and Excel)
- Prior experience using CRM reporting software is desired
ADDITIONAL SKILLS/PREFERENCES BIO-PHARMACEUTICAL SALES REP OPENING
- Demonstrated business insight
- Completion of some kind of pharmaceutical sales training or education
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment
