Are you a skilled professional with experience in mechanical systems, carpentry, light electrical work, plumbing, and management? We are seeking a seasoned and highly motivated Live-In Resident Manager to lead operations at our thriving apartment complex. This position offers a unique opportunity to oversee the maintenance and operations of 588 residential apartments.

Responsibilities:

- Provide a visible and approachable presence within the community, acting as a trusted resource for residents and addressing their concerns promptly and professionally.

- Maintain and repair mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical fixtures. Perform carpentry work such as door/window repairs, drywall installation, and basic structural maintenance.

- Address light electrical issues such as changing light fixtures, outlets, and switches. Handle plumbing tasks including unclogging drains, fixing leaks, and repairing fixtures.

- Lead aspects of property management, including turnover, and resident relations.

- Manage a team of 20 employees, providing leadership, training, and guidance. Coordinate with Union employees and ensure compliance with labor regulations.

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the property, including maintenance schedules and tenant requests. Respond to emergencies promptly and efficiently, ensuring 24-hour coverage for resident needs.

Requirements:

- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in property management, with a demonstrably successful track record in managing High Rise multi-unit complexes (600+ units).

- Black Seal License preferred. Hands-on experience with minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs is essential.

- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with residents, staff (including unionized employees), and vendors.

- Proficiency in property management software is a plus.
