Job Description

• Ensure each customer receives outstanding service.
• Maintain awareness of all promotions and ads
• Execute the daily operational, day-to-day goals
• Assist in training and development of peers
• Uphold merchandising and store cleanliness standards
• Help in processing new shipments arriving at the store and help the team keep it organized
• Responsive to safety issues
• Aware of possible shoplifting activity
• Aid customers in locating merchandise in store
• Answer customers questions and provide information on products

Qualifications

• Must be able willing to work flexible hours including one weekend day
• Have SOME knowledge of basic hardware related products, but we will accept an open mind
• Excellent customer service skills, AKA being a nice person!
• Verbal and written communication skills are very important.
• Be a fast learner, cheerful with a positive attitude
• Previous experience in retail environment
• Knowledge of retail computer systems a plus
• A commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction
• A team player yet still able to work independently
• Bilingual a plus, but NOT required.
• Must be 18 years old or older

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift heavy objects (50lbs or more) from time to time
• Ability to stand for an extended period of time
• Move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store.
