Full description of the position

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide them with assistance in finding products or answering their questions
- Recommend and upsell products based on customer needs and preferences
- Operate cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system to process customer transactions
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor.
- Provide exceptional customer service by resolving any issues or concerns
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and promotions to effectively communicate with customers

Experience:
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not required
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating discounts
- Multilingual skills, particularly Spanish, are a plus for communicating with diverse customers
- Familiarity with technical sales or electronics is beneficial

Skills:
- Strong ability to facilitate customers in making great selections for their home.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and provide product information
- Proficiency in operating a cash register or POS system for accurate transaction processing
- Knowledge of retail sales techniques and strategies for maximizing sales opportunities
