Full description of the position

This role will be responsible for setting up a contract procurement program to identify Federal Markets (FED) and US State/Local Government and Education (SLED) contract opportunities.

There will be a variety of tasks related to managing the RFP/RFI submission process, timeline, and managing client/vendor contracts.

SLED (state, local government & education). You will focus on identifying and capturing state-by-state contract opportunities, responding to quick reaction deals for the US State/Local Government and Education (SLED) market.

Responsibilities

• Establish a FED/SLED contract prospecting program.
• Make recommendations of needed resources, tools, sites, databases, etc., to set the program up for success.
• Register Jani-King with all federal, state, and local entities as a service provider.
• Identifying and qualify leads through targeted research, outbound calling, and emails.
• Assist with the bid, proposal, RFP and RFI process.
• Conduct daily database lead management including capturing, entering, updating, tracking, reporting, and setting leads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (Business Development, Contracts, or related field)
• 8+ years of experience with Federal, state, and local contracting.
• Proven track record for establishing a successful Federal, Government, State and Local contracting program.
• Prior experience prospecting contracts with Federal, Government, State and Local agencies, public and private websites, and contract database software.
• Knowledgeable in the application of related laws, regulations, policies, and precedents of federal contracting.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
