Full description of the position

In your role as a Service Sales Representative, you will work in a business-to-business setting in which you will cover an assigned territory and build a portfolio of accounts via referrals, prospecting and attending networking events. Additionally, you will be tasked with mentoring and leading a Junior Sales Representative.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Generally, represent the company with clients, architects, consultants, property managers, building owners, and other targeted client groups.
  • Develop target lists and penetrate accounts selling various services.
  • Develop and maintain commercial client relationships with a focus on customer service as a key priority for business referrals and repeat business.
  • Help to develop new commercial territorial accounts through cold calling, prospecting, networking, telemarketing lead follow up, target marketings and business development meetings.
  • Develop relationships with owners, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Participate in customer acquisition and customer target strategy.
  • Complete take off and estimate.
  • Create detailed proposals, follow-up with customers, close sales.
  • Maintain bid calendar and report updates to team.
  • Review Requests For Proposals (RFP), Contracts for scope and price accuracy.
  • Meet with Construction Manager to perform project handoff after bid award.
  • Plan, oversee and participate in Marketing outreach.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities :

  • Sales experience. Closers with a proven track record.
  • Energetic, eager, focused and competitive by nature.
  • Able to communicate and establish customer relationships with all types of personalities.
  • Well spoken. The ability to develop rapport and build trust.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable with calling individuals and communicating our services.
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office and standard office applications as well as navigating on the Internet.
