Outside Sales Representative / Estimator

Summary

Bryant Fence Company is a family-owned service company operating in Knoxville, TN since 1981. We specialize in wood, aluminum, vinyl, and chain link fences. The Estimator/Sales Representative for Bryant Fence Company has a primary duty of making sales for the company. This position is regularly engaged at customers homes and away from the companys place of business however, weekly scheduled meetings/ office time is required. This position supports the companys management, purpose, and values and is 100% commission based with company car.

Job Responsibilities

• Drives to customers homes on pre-scheduled appointments.
• Confirms appointments with each customer.
• Builds rapport with customer and assesses their desired needs and goals.
• Provides fencing recommendations to the customer that meet their needs and goals.
• Carefully examines the customers property to provide an accurate diagnosis of any potential issues.
• Provides a clear and accurate quote to customer the day of appointment
• Results leads in CRM Program within 24 hours of appointment.
• Follows up with customer at 1 week & again at 2 weeks post appointment with documentation in CRM
• Closes the sale by proving a contract to customers and receiving the deposit.
• Meets or exceeds monthly closing ratio goal.
• Attends sales meetings and other required meetings.
• Communicates with the production department regarding and special job requirements.
• Provide Production Manager with an accurate drawing ready for job installation.
• Attempts to find to property pins if sold to customer.

Skills & Proficiencies

• Knowledge of sales, marketing, and/or customer service principles and practices.
• Knowledge of construction principles and practices preferred.
• Ability to understand, speak, read, and write in English.
• Skill in operating a personal computer and programs.
• Strong presentation skills.
• 1+ years of successful experience in the sales field
• Drug-free and valid drivers license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
