Sales Support Associate

Office Location: Boston, MA

Baystate Financial, a Premier Financial Services organization in New England and beyond, is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our Sales Support Team. In this role you will part of a dynamic team working with Financial Advisors and their clients to design and create customized recommendations for protection products.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Provide market support to the Advisors or our Firm and act as a liaison to our distribution group.
• Collaborate to become a point of contact for Advisor on the products available, as well as viable carrier options.
• Participate in Sales Support Training and Firm wide meetings to learn the array of products available.
• Partner with our Financial Planning department to identify potential cross sell opportunities for our clients.
• Prepare correspondence and track requests daily.
• Champion for sales materials and brochures to use with the clients.
• Continue to work with clients, as needed, to update or run new sales proposals and various scenarios.
• Assist the team with practice management quality improvement and efficiency solutions.
• Maximize sales tools provided and enhance knowledge on them continually.

Ideal Skill Set:

• Excellent communication skills
• Outstanding writing and research skills
• Highly organized to meet concurrent project deadline
• Bachelors degree preferred
• Financial services industry experience a plus
• Desire to obtain life, accident/health exams, as well as FINRA registrations.
