Griffin-Owens Insurance Specialists, LLC has been in business since 1981 and has expanded from one office in Herndon to four offices: Herndon (corporate office), Falls Church, Manassas and Clinton, MD. Our success stems from the philosophy of helping individuals, families and businesses protect assets and make educated decisions about their insurance needs.

In order to continue providing our clients the best in service, we are looking for individuals who currently hold an insurance P&C license, or are willing to get licensed within six months of being hired. They will work in our Manassas office Monday -Friday. An ideal candidate would have two years' commercial insurance experience.

Job responsibilities:

• Assists Account Executives by reviewing clients' accounts and making coverage/policy recommendations (if and when licensed)
• Assists Account Executives' with rewrites and/or transfers (if and when licensed)
• Assists in the claims process
• Taking clients' payments and answering billing questions
• Calls clients for late payments
• Issuing certificates of insurance
• Processes change and endorsement requests
• Checks agency/carrier emails and distributes as directed
• Processes premium payments and assists in billing issues
• Helps Account Executives with administrative tasks
• Back-up support for receptionists

• Must speak English and Spanish fluently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
