The job and what you'll do:
Our role in service on the Gold Team is to be available immediately for our Gold Financial Advisors, and to provide exceptional service delivered with Emotional Connection ensuring our advisors feel they are appreciated, cared for and understood. Prioritizing and building the relationships with our Gold offices through every interaction allows us to create a competitive advantage and add value through service. The Gold team was synergistically built by bringing together Service, Operations and New Business associates dedicated fully to improve and exceed expectations for our Gold offices.
In Gold Service, the Gold Service Specialist partners with their dedicated Gold Relationship Manager with the goal of providing their assigned advisors with best in class service and operations experience in the financial services industry. By delivering personalized, proactive, customized support to each Gold Advisor practice, the Gold Relationship Manager will ensure every Gold Advisor:
  • Is a Promoter of the Gold Service Model
  • Is highly satisfied with their operations experience
  • Enjoys extended longevity on our platform
Gold best in class service to be measured by:
  • Operations and Service Net Promotor Score
    • Establish and maintain Ops/Service NPS greater than 80% promoters
    • Goal of Zero Detractors
  • Continuously Improving Quarterly Relationship Management Scorecard Results
The Gold Relationship Manager is an expert in all areas of the AssetMark platform with deep financial services industry knowledge that provides both concierge and consultative support services, customized to meet the unique needs of their Gold Advisors on the AssetMark platform. The Gold Service Specialist partners with their Gold Relationship Manager and pulls from all their resources inside and outside the firm and the Gold Team to add value to the Gold Advisor Practice.
The Gold Relationship Manager (RM) provides dedicated service support to Financial Advisors that have at least $35 million in Assets on the AssetMark platform.
We can consider candidates for this position who are able to accommodate a hybrid work schedule and are close to one of our following offices: Phoenix, AZ, Concord, CA, or Chicago, IL.
Responsibilities:
  • Manages a set number of Gold Advisor relationships, providing personalized service, delivering proactive training and communications on new platform initiatives
  • Partner closely with your assigned Gold Service Specialist, Gold New Business and Gold Operations peers to best serve your Gold offices
  • Manages the service relationship between the outside Sales Consultant, their internal Sales consultant and their assigned Advisors to develop, maintain and enhance positive working relationships with our Customers
  • Occasional travel to Advisor offices for onsite meetings and relationship building initiatives
  • Monitor outstanding trading exception issues and work with Custodians to resolve issues for Advisors
  • Continually evaluate day-to-day activities for process improvement opportunities; speaks about outages, offers solutions and makes improvements; Must be solution oriented
  • Participate in selected departmental process improvement initiatives and duties as assigned
  • Reports all outside/in and inside/out AssetMark deficits to the Customer Experience Group and communicates ongoing progress toward resolution to the Advisor until the resolution is completed; provides feedback to the Advisor regarding changes in corporate policies/procedures or related areas which were implemented as a result of the identified deficit
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • SIE
  • Series 6 or 7 securities license
  • Outstanding Customer Focus constantly looking to provide memorable service touch and create a loyal promoter with our Gold Advisor offices
  • Acts with a sense of urgency when appropriate

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum of 2+ years Financial Services industry experience required
Compensation: The Base Salary range for this position is between $50,000-$65,000.

This information reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location. This position will also be eligible for additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
