JOB SUMMARY
Wausau Tile Inc. employs hundreds of talented, dedicated employees, whom we depend on to deliver the high-quality products and services that set us apart from our competition. The Site Furnishing Sales position combines knowledge with sales skills to provide advice and support on the various products Wausau Tile has to offer. This individual is the key point of contact for clients and provides pre and post sales expertise. This position regularly collaborates with other members of the sales team from other departments, such as research, development, design, purchasing, production and quality, as well as senior management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and accounts
Lead and manage a team of Customer Service Representatives
Lead process improvement initiatives within the department
Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to the team in order to achieve goals
Meet sales goals and company profitability projections
Foster a positive and collaborative team environment
Develop a strong understanding of Wausau Tiles products
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth within the division
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities
Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to align strategies and goals
Set and monitor sales targets, ensuring the team meets or exceeds established goals
Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess individual and team performance
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback
Determine market pricing and strategy
Assist in the design of new product development
Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities
Address customer concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Coordinate and conduct sales training programs for the team to enhance their skills and knowledge
Identify training needs and implement development plans for individual team members
Attend trade shows, conferences and other marketing events as needed
Develop long term relationships with clients by traveling and meeting face to face
Conduct performance evaluations.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, sales, marketing, or related field
Proven experience in sales management, with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets
Strategic thinking and the ability to develop and execute sales strategies
Superior interpersonal skills to communicate with high level technical expertise and clarity
Ability to travel once a month, or more if needed
Microsoft Office experience
