Job Summary:
The focus of this position will be to assist the product team to achieve tactical, strategic and product development goals. Including but not limited to managing competitive proposal, reviewing gaps in product offerings. This role is to be considered experts in the product and its technology, able to interact and interface with customer on a technical and commercial level. Product specialists are expected to take ownership of product development pipeline and planning for out years. The role is a stepping stone for product management growth.
Essential Functions:
- In depth understand and able to communicate application and usage of technology
- Generate technical and commercial proposals for new and existing solutions
- Support Customer and Sales technical questions with general product knowledge of assigned APCD products
- Triage customer problems for appropriate actions
- Develop relationships with Amphenol Sales & Distribution partners through training & visits
- Maintain & enhance sales collateral as well as product development pipeline
Required Skills/Qualifications (mandatory on resume):
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Strong technical aptitude and / or engineering degree
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively across all levels of the organization
- Exceptional organization skills with strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management, sense of urgency and follow-through skills
- Effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities in a faced paced, high-pressure and results-oriented environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Years' Experience:
1+, desired
Required Education:
Associate Degree, or equivalent work experience
