Responsibilities for the Area Sales Representative:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies
- Developing and implementing sales strategies
- Identifying new business opportunities by networking and community events
- Negotiating contracts, setting bill rates and closing sales
- Monitoring market trends and competitor activities
- Analyzing sales data and preparing reports for management
- Spends majority of daily activities away from employer's place of business making sales calls and obtaining contracts for services
- Engage potential customers using established sales methods to educate, consult, inform, and ultimately close the sale
- Stay informed about industry trends
- Commit to delivering an exceptional customer service experience from start to finish
Qualifications for the Area Sales Representative:
- Proven experience in customer service, sales, or business development
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers
- Strong knowledge of outside sales techniques and strategies
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as ADP, Taleo, TempWorks or Paychex
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to effectively negotiate and close job offers
- Proficiency in social media management for recruitment purposes
- Excellent research skills to identify potential candidates
- Familiarity with human resources policies, procedures, and employment laws
- Technical sales experience is a plus as well as the ability to travel within the assigned area as needed
