Sales - DFW Metroplex - Full Time

Are you an experienced sales rep with knowledge of power distribution equipment or automation? We are a leading online retailer of circuit breakers, bus plugs, motor controls, switches, and automation, and we are growing like crazy! We are looking for a motivated rep to join our inside sales team and contribute to an incredible customer experience.

Because customer satisfaction is at the heart of everything we do, the right candidate will have a strong track record of delivering a positive customer experience and growing repeat business on key accounts. Our website generates thousands of leads each month, and the right candidate will be ready to jump in, help customers, and close a high volume of sales right away. For that reason, industry experience is required. This position is based out of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

Your teams mission, and how youll help

Our Customers. You will be working with a wide variety of customers, including electricians, contractors, maintenance managers, breaker dealers, and import / export companies. No matter who it is on the other end of the line, our mission is to provide a fast and easy buying experience, so that they will come back for more.

Some of our customers most urgent needs come when an out-of-production part fails. Lucky for them, we have the largest stock of new and out-of-production parts in the world, and a massive network of inventory partners. Combined with our extensive online visibility, this allows our reps to fill orders with far more ease than the competition. We proudly offer a free 2 year warranty to ensure that customers can always be confident in our products.

Your Day. This position will focus mainly on inbound phone and email inquiries generated from the website. You will handle a high volume of requests in order to generate 30+ quotes per day. The quoting process is easy for in-stock products, and more complicated for items that need to be shipped and inspected from inventory partners. Because we adhere to higher standards than some of our partners, we require strict processes to be followed in order to ensure customer satisfaction. You will serve both small and large customers, and will interact with other exceptional sales reps on our team.

Depending on skills and performance, there is opportunity to expand into account development. This includes following up with existing customers to understand their needs and expand sales opportunities. These opportunities are lucrative, and reserved for top performers.

What youll be doing...

Manage time and communication effectively to deliver a dependable and positive customer experience.

• Generate 30+ quotes per day by responding to a high volume of inbound calls and email requests.
• Hit monthly sales quota within 6 months of start, and consistently exceed quota thereafter (dont sweat it, well give you all the opportunities you need to accomplish this).
• Participate in our after hours program for one week out of every 2-3 months.
• Handle order processing and sourcing for your own orders.
• Follow company processes and work well with colleagues to ensure that orders flow smoothly (hint hint: we like to make things as easy as possible for our warehouse and shipping teams).
• Love your work, and love your personal life even more. Cut out at the end of the day to enjoy the other parts of your life that matter.

What youll need to succeed...

• 3-5+ yrs in sales to include power distribution, automation, or related experience.
• An ability to deliver a dependable and high-value customer experience.
• History of strong sales performance in previous roles.
• Openness to receiving coaching and adapting your approach.
• Eagerness to try new things and be the best you can be.
• Organized, strong time management skills, and a self-starting personality.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong ability to self-manage and work remotely.

Bonus Points If...

• You have outside sales or other prospecting experience.
• You have a great sense of humor.

Schedule

• Recommended schedule is 8 am - 5 pm CST, but we may adjust this a bit as necessary.

Compensation

• Approximately $40,000 - $65,000+ depending on experience with immense earning potential
