Ideal Auto is two locally owned NAPA stores established to provide exceptional service to the Waterbury and Morrisville communities.

We are seeking a full time counter person. Candidate must be self motivated, responsible, and willing to provide excellent customer service to both our wholesale and retail customers. The ideal person possesses a passion for automotive parts, believes in taking care of the customer while supporting a strong team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to all store customers assist both retail and wholesale customers with their auto parts questions and needs, either in person, via the telephone, or through online ordering
• Handle cash, credit card, and other purchasing transactions
• Pull and prepare inventory orders for customer pick up or delivery
• Operate the electronic and paper cataloging system to retrieve up to date parts information
• Effectively communicate features, benefits, and warranty policy information to customers
• Demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude as well as professional conduct and appearance at all times.

Qualifications: Know How -- Automotive Parts Knowledge and/or Experience ASE Parts Certification is a PLUS

• Excellent Verbal and Written Communication skills
• Motivated to train and learn
• Ability to thrive and have fun in a Busy, Fast-Paced retail environment
• Knowledge of Automotive Parts Cataloging and/or Inventory Management System is a PLUS
• Valid Driver's License and/or Reliable Transportation
• Minimum 2 Year's Experience

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
