Job description

Overview: The position of Route Sales Driver for Ice Cream Warehouse (ICW) requires that an individual be able to physically and safely perform the necessary functions of driving, delivering, stocking and ordering the wide range of frozen products that the Company sells. The position requires the ability to perform tasks on your own without supervision and be able to communicate with both fellow co-workers and others outside of the organization.

Job Requirements:

• Education High school or equivalent preferred
• License Class B drivers license Required
• Physical Must be able to sit, stand, squat, bend and lift multiple times per day as well as be able to climb stairs and climb in and out of trucks. Must be able to work in both hot and below freezing temps.
• Skills Must be able to perform basic arithmetic and be able to learn basic route delivery functions.
• Mental Must be able to adapt to daily conditions and to be able to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers. Must show reliability and promptness on a daily basis.

Other Information: The Route Sales position is a 40 +/- working hours. It is a Monday through Friday position. The compensation is base pay plus a commission. Benefits are available...from health insurance to a 401K plan and more. Bi-weekly paid.

About the Company: Davis Ice Cream DBA Ice Cream Warehouse (ICW) is a family owned and operated company that was founded and started in 1999 in Mobile AL. Over time the business has grown to include 4 primary locations: Mobile AL, Lagrange GA, Hueytown AL and Marietta GA. Ice Cream Warehouse currently distributes for Blue Bunny, Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream (Nestle), M&M Mars, Rich's, Helados and Mayfield Ice Cream. We currently service the small format industry to include convenience stores, schools, hospitals, small grocery stores etc., across the entire southeast expanding from Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida panhandle, Georgia and Tennessee.

We are currently seeking an Ice Cream Route Sales Rep for a position in the Knoxville Tn area. Candidates with Class B CDL required and some route experience are preferred.
