Are you looking to expand your career with a growth-oriented and dynamic organization? Our company is looking for an Assistant Sales Manager to support our Sales team. The Assistant Sales Manager is responsible for assisting the Sales Manager in achieving sales goals by coaching and developing Sales Consultants and ensuring compliance with the Company's Core Values.

Responsibilities:

• Attain sales and customer satisfaction goals.
• Monitor daily sales performances and make necessary adjustments to achieve sales budgets.
• Assist with developing, planning, and preparation of training curriculum for sales meetings.
• Conduct sales and training meetings with Sales Consultants.
• Facilitate vendor, product, and installation training as required.
• Assure accurate reporting and handling of Company leads through proper use of available intraday and daily reports.
• Review and analyze individual Sales Consultants performance against metrics and stated goals, implement rewards and/or improvement plans as needed.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with all company sales policies and procedures.
• Ensure Sales Consultants capacity is sufficient to achieve market demand.
• Conduct the onboarding and training of new Sales Consultants.
• Ensure Sales Consultants have the required skills, abilities, and assets to support the Company's brand standards.
• Implement Corporate sales initiatives to ensure achievement of stated corporate goals.
• Attend or participate in all Corporate training sessions.
• Create and exhibit a sense of accountability.
• Create and support a safe work environment.
• Other duties necessary or assigned.

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree or equivalent sales experience
• Minimum two years sales experience and one year management or training experience preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of home improvement industry a plus.
• Proficient Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Suite).
• Strong selling and interpersonal skills.
• Strong coaching and motivational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as a team in a stressful environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and detail oriented.
• Strong ability to multi-task, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
• This position spends half of their time working on a computer and using the phone, which requires the ability to use a keyboard to enter data (i.e., excel spreadsheets, creating presentations) and the ability to speak clearly on the phone.
• This position spends half of their time training the team and helps generate sales.
• Ability to sit for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds (i.e., training materials, product samples, etc.).
• Ability to walk and stand while conducting information sessions and/or training for Sales Consultants.
• The ability to perform the essential functions of the position physically and mentally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• The ability to report to work on a regular basis.
• Reliable transportation and valid drivers license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
