Outpost 30A LLC owns a unique collective of luxury retail, lifestyle and hospitality brands located in the Alys Beach resort community, along scenic Highway 30A. Our special portfolio includes Summerstory, Parasol, Bebette and Holiday Cafe.

Summerstory is currently looking for a results-driven Senior Sales Consultant to be responsible for all sales duties, from generating leads to closing sales. To be considered, the candidate must have expert knowledge in Interior Design. Summerstory is a high end, luxury home furnishings and interior design store located in Alys Beach. A strong proven sales history is required for this role. Senior Sales Consultant duties and responsibilities include the following. The ability to work closely with interior design clients, and in store customers, to determine their needs and drive floor sales. Ideal candidate must have expert knowledge is sales, interior design, merchandise, and the ability to recommend the right solutions to ensure maximum client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Ensure top (5-Star) levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.

Provide friendly and inviting customer interactions to determine needs and assist with purchases.

Provide expert knowledge of all merchandise.

Provide expert knowledge in Interior Design

Track and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Go the extra mile to drive sales.

Process POS (point of sale) purchases including special orders.

Always maintain a beautiful and clean store environment.

Cross sell products.

Handle returns of merchandise.

Comply with inventory control procedures.

Skills

Friendly and energetic personality with a customer service focus.

Proven experience as a Sales Consultant in a luxury home furnishings environment.

Understanding of sales principles and high-end customer service practices.

Solid communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a positive team atmosphere.

Track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.

Proficient in Point of Sales Systems.

Available to work flexible shifts, including some weekends.

Proficient in English and basic math. Excel skills a plus.

High school degree; Degree in Interior Design or Retail Management is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
